Blob URLs, data URLs and supported video source links
A blob URL refers to a browser-managed resource; a data URL includes an inline representation. Neither is automatically a public provider link that another server can analyze. For an owned recording, use the application’s supported export or a completed local file, then select the website workflow appropriate to that artifact.

Identify the representation before pasting the address
A normal supported source link identifies a resource through the platform’s public URL structure. A blob address belongs to browser resource handling and can stop being usable when its object is revoked or the relevant context ends. A data address carries inline content rather than identifying an ordinary provider page.
Copying either string into a remote URL downloader does not grant that backend access to the browser’s private resource or establish a supported platform. The presence of a playable video element in your tab is also not proof that its current address is a permanent original-media link.
Use a supported export for content you may retain
Look for the originating application’s own save, export or share operation and confirm that you have permission for the intended file. If it delivers a local movie, verify completion and select an upload-based tool when you want conversion, trimming or another supported transformation.
If you instead need source analysis, obtain a supported public source URL through its legitimate share controls. This site does not advertise arbitrary blob/data extraction, private-session capture or recovery of every stream shown in a logged-in tab. Do not follow an untrusted script that claims to convert inaccessible session resources into unrestricted downloads.
Check identity and lifetime after receiving actual bytes
Open the saved artifact and inspect its size, duration and representative sound and pictures. A copied inline representation can be something other than the intended movie; a blob preview can identify a processed derivative rather than the original source. Keep that identity distinction in the receiving note.
If the browser-managed address stops working, return to a supported export or current authorized share action. Changing the string’s scheme or appending an extension does not recreate missing bytes. A genuine completed local file has a separate receiving lifecycle from the temporary browser reference that helped create or preview it.
Worked example
A creator previews an edited movie through a blob address, then sends that string to a colleague. The colleague cannot use it as a public source link. The creator exports the authorized movie, verifies the completed local file and shares that artifact through an appropriate channel, preserving the distinction between preview resource and deliverable.
