Browser storage quota is different from a full download disk
Browser-managed site storage and a download folder are different storage layers. A site can reach an origin storage quota while the computer still has free disk space, and a download destination can fill independently. Identify the affected operation before clearing data, because unsaved local editing work may depend on that browser state.

Identify which operation and storage layer failed
Note whether the failure occurs while importing a file, saving a web editor's local state, caching resources or receiving a completed download. A quota-related browser exception concerns an API's storage allocation; an operating-system disk-full error concerns the selected volume. Do not collapse both into a generic video format failure.
Check the actual browser profile and site origin when local state is involved. Private contexts, profile policies and implementation choices can affect available storage or retention. A visible filename in Downloads does not establish that an origin's database or cache has room, and deleting an unrelated movie does not necessarily change an application's immediate quota handling.
Preserve work before a targeted storage change
If an editor still exposes the project or required media, use its supported export or backup route and verify the resulting artifact before clearing site data. A cache-reset recommendation can destroy local-only project information if applied indiscriminately. Keep the source recordings and distinguish a saved project record from an independently retained finished movie.
Review the browser's supported site-storage information and the application's current instructions. Remove only identified disposable data when authorized and preserve any needed account or offline state. Do not grant broad filesystem permissions or disable browser security to make an origin storage operation succeed. A permission grant and a quota budget are different controls.
Verify the resumed import or file delivery
Retry the particular failed operation after the targeted adjustment and inspect its actual result. For a browser download, confirm destination volume space, completed transfer and local playback. For a web editor, confirm the intended project state and media references rather than assuming a cleared error means unsaved edits were recovered.
SocialVidDownloader applies separate bounded upload and processing limits. Browser free space cannot expand those server limits, and an expired prepared file may require a fresh authorized job. Keep the failure stage and actual error wording in a safe report. A useful resolution identifies the correct storage boundary without presenting cache deletion, changing a language or selecting 4K as a universal remedy.
Worked example
Example: a browser editor cannot save local project data even though an external download drive has plenty of space. Preserve the available source and supported project export, then investigate the site's browser-storage allocation. Cleaning files from the external drive addresses a different layer and is not proof that the project state became durable.
