Source-provided dubbed audio versus a newly generated dub
A source-provided dub is already attached to the source media. Downloading that available stream retrieves a recording; it does not mean SocialVidDownloader generated a translation. A new AI dub would require separate translation, speech generation, synchronization, and review, which this download selection does not promise.

Identify the recording you are selecting
A source can carry its original soundtrack and alternate recordings. Some alternates may be creator-produced dubs or platform-generated dubs. A language label identifies the claimed language but does not always establish how the recording was created.
Listen to the actual track and use the source's own information when available. Do not call a default stream original solely because it starts automatically. Nor should a translated title or caption setting be treated as a second audio recording. Keep the distinction between an existing audible stream and translated text clear before choosing an output.
Understand the downloader boundary
SocialVidDownloader can offer only tracks its analysis genuinely exposes and its processing can handle. Selecting an available dub preserves that source recording where retrieval succeeds. It does not guarantee every source-player language, and it does not translate a missing track on demand.
Experimental or local AI-dubbing architecture is a separate area of work. It should not be marketed as a production translation feature through a normal download guide. Creating new dialogue would raise additional questions about meaning, timing, speaker rendering, permission, and review. A source audio selector is insufficient evidence that those capabilities are available.
Check language and meaning in the saved file
Open the completed output, inspect the local track list, and listen to a recognizable passage. Where several tracks were requested, test each rather than assuming that labels and default flags survived exactly as expected. A player may require explicit alternate-track selection.
For work where meaning matters, verify important names, technical terms, and instructions against an authoritative version. A retrieved dub can still contain translation or performance choices; saving it faithfully does not certify its accuracy. Keep the original source attribution and identify the recording actually used. If the desired language is absent, report that honestly rather than naming the original file as though a new translation had been generated.
Worked example
Illustrative case: the source exposes an original English track and a published Spanish dub. Downloading Spanish retrieves the source's Spanish recording. Requesting Japanese when no Japanese stream exists would require a different generation workflow and must not be described as a successful source download.
