Kdenlive render scope: full project, selected zone and marker exports
Kdenlive's render scope determines which timeline interval becomes a movie. A selected zone or marker range can legitimately produce less than the whole project. Check that scope before treating a shorter output as an interrupted download, and verify each named artifact when using marker-based multiple exports.

Inspect the intended interval in the render dialog
Open the installed editor's File > Render workflow and review the output file and interval controls. The manual distinguishes Full project from Selected zone. Full project covers the timeline's populated extent under the documented behavior; Selected zone uses the defined timeline zone. Confirm the displayed rendered length against the passage you intend to deliver.
Use recognizable opening and ending events rather than guessing from a round duration. A zone can be left from an earlier review or a source inspection. Project-monitor selection and export range are related settings, but the receiving task is the actual rendered interval. Keep the project and source media while testing a new output name.
Review marker zones and multiple-file scope
Where supported in the installed version, Marker Zone selects an interval defined by timeline markers. Inspect the chosen start and end markers and their real positions before rendering. A marker's descriptive name is not evidence that it still bounds the right passage after later edits.
Markers Multi-Export creates separate outputs for the relevant marker-defined zones. List the expected sections and preserve a clear mapping between marker intervals and saved filenames. Check boundaries that share neighboring dialogue or transitions so an apparently neat division does not omit context or duplicate an unintended passage.
Verify each output and the full-project distinction
After the render finishes, open each saved file and inspect its first event, final event, sound and plausible duration. Compare with the selected timeline interval, not automatically the entire project. Read any render error before accepting an artifact; a partial file from a failed job is a different condition from an intentionally shorter zone export.
If the recipient needs a complete presentation, deliberately select the full intended scope and render to another filename rather than concatenating arbitrary section files without checking continuity. SocialVidDownloader does not control Kdenlive's zones or marker exports. Its local splitter and trimmer are separate tools; neither makes a native selected-zone render evidence that the original public download was incomplete.
Worked example
Example: a ten-minute Kdenlive edit produces a two-minute file because Selected zone still brackets a review passage. Verify that passage's endpoints and choose Full project for a complete delivery. If separate marker sections are required instead, check each saved section and its name rather than expecting one ten-minute output.
