Final Cut export: choose scope and verify each completed file
A Final Cut share selection and queued background job are not yet an accepted movie. Choose the correct project, clip or range, inspect the destination settings and verify the actual completed file. For a batch, each required output needs its own identity and playback check; one finished item does not prove the others succeeded.

Choose the native source scope deliberately
Retain the working library and authorized sources. Apple’s Export File workflow supports browser projects or clips and supported range selections. For just part of a project, use a timeline range, with I and O available to mark its bounds; selecting a timeline clip alone is not sufficient to define that partial share. Compare the planned opening and ending before processing.
For a batch, select only projects or only clips rather than mixing both. Confirm that the destination supports batching. Keep a list of the selected item identities and expected outputs. A similarly named browser clip and project can contain different sound or edit boundaries, so the highlighted selection is part of the delivery evidence rather than a cosmetic choice.
Review the destination and retained media representation
Use File > Share > Export File or the toolbar’s Share destination. Inspect Settings for the actual format and output properties rather than assuming the destination’s name freezes every setting. Confirm required pictures and sound. Apple advises switching a proxy-playback project to Optimized/Original before this share; verify usable source availability instead of relying on a cached proxy preview.
For mixed batch settings, resolve differences in the individual projects as required. Differing roles, frame sizes or rates can limit shared adjustment controls. Do not silently force every project into the same assumed arrangement. Choose distinct output names and a suitable folder, preserve older accepted deliveries and record where each new result should appear.
Monitor the actual background sharing task
Open Window > Background Tasks or use Command-9 and inspect the relevant sharing work. Expand its section and distinguish active, paused, cancelled or failed work from a completed accepted output. A share dialog closing or an item entering a queue is not a successful file delivery.
If work fails, retain the alert and identify its stage, the source item and output destination. Check the actual missing resource or storage condition before retrying. Avoid repeatedly launching an entire batch when one item is unresolved. Keep any partial output clearly unapproved and do not replace the source or earlier accepted movie while investigating.
Verify every saved movie in the receiver
Locate each actual file and reopen it outside the editing preview. Check the intended beginning, a distinctive middle section and the ending, along with the required narration, music and timing. Compare actual duration and visible content with the selected range. Test the recipient’s supported representation rather than assuming a familiar extension establishes compatibility.
Maintain a per-item result for a batch: accepted output, failed task or still unresolved. A finished export flattens the selected presentation and does not replace the library, source recordings or reusable resource dependencies. SocialVidDownloader does not operate Final Cut shares or guarantee every native destination. Its permitted media can be an input, while the native export workflow and real receiving checks establish what this derivative actually delivers.
Worked example
Example: three projects are batch-shared, but one has different role settings and another lacks a required source. The editor resolves the individual requirements and inspects each completed movie. A queue entry or success for the first project is never reported as three accepted deliveries.
